Did you mean: Zeesluis IJmuiden? Which is better known to the Dutch as Sluisje MC Sluisface and even Irma Sluis.

A Lock chamber in Dutch is just “Sluis” or “Zeesluis” ( Zee means the sea ). There was an open contest with suggestions for the name of the Dutch sluis in IJmuiden. The public went with Sluisje MC Sluisface and Irma Sluis (Irma is a real person, a quite famous Sign Language interpreter actually). However the new name for the zeesluis in IJmuiden turned out to be … Zeesluis IJmuiden. So much for democratic voting ..
